Sizing guide

Pre-owned clothing can fit differently by brand, era and previous wear. Check the size information on the individual product and compare any actual measurements with a similar garment you own.

Label sizes and measurements

A label size such as M, EU 42 or W32 is a size designation. It is not an actual flat measurement. On jeans, W usually indicates the listed waist size and L the listed inside-leg size, commonly in inches. Treat them as listed sizes unless the product explicitly identifies an actual measurement.

How to compare actual measurements

• Chest: armpit to armpit with the garment laid flat, when provided.
• Length: shoulder to hem, using the method stated in the listing.
• Flat waist: straight across the waistband only when explicitly described as a flat measurement. This is not the same as the waist circumference or W label size.
• Inside leg: crotch seam to hem when an actual measurement is provided.
